ERDoc Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Doc, if you take away my Narcan, how am I going to convince the obnoxious junkies not to give me a hard time? Asys, you will have to become more patient friendly. Try giving them a hug, I have used this approach many times with a good success rate. Isn't worth it to put this whole darn thing to rest. Really, can you not just make that sacrifice for the good of the city. Do you think we have buried the troll yet?
BEorP Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006  I'm just amused by the sputtering indignation of certain "stuffed shirts" who seem to think that nobody without a "P" on their license should be allowed to adminsiter this or that drug. I reminds me of a certain set of other stuffed shirts who think nobody who doesn't have "MD" after their name should be allowed to "play doctor". I'm amused by uneducated EMTs who think that the only thing that matters is what skills/drugs they have and completely forget about education.
brunsons911 Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Oral and transdermal chlorination are definitely BLS; anything else probably requires more training and should thus be reserved for ALS
akflightmedic Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Forget the chlorine.....I am draining this pool for the season!! "locked"
