Jump Bag Checklist

Does anyone have a checklist of items for an ALS Jumpbag, and an ALS Pedi Jumpbag? Each of our trucks carries a Regular Thomas ALS support bag, and a thomas aeromedical bag for the pedi bag. Im looking for a checklist of everything that should be carried in each bag. As of right now there's no rhyme or reason to any of the equipment that is carried in the bags. Just whatever is already there, and if someone uses something, it may or may not be replaced with the same thing. I'd like to have a standard of equipment that is kept in each bag. As well, one needs to know their local community and protocols, what is most commonly used. Then one can set a par level, based upon the demands.

Personally, I could eliminate about 3/4 in my pack...

• Aramine (for hypotension of SVTs & Viagra /Anginine induced hypotension)

• Atropine (for bradycardia & organophosphate overdose)

• Atrovent (for asthma)

• Dextrose 5 % (for drug dilutions)
