I am currently looking at purchasing the Zoll Autopulse. Any feedback on this would be appreciated.

Uhmmm... is this for your personal vehicle?

A little more info would help

Do a search on this site, plus many others.. there has been studies pro and con.. as well, some have been restricted and under investigation for potential wrongful problems.

We have used the auto-pulse for some time now.Everybody here seems to like them.Haven't had any problems with this piece of equipment as of yet. Our 1st and 2nd out trucks carry these at all times, plus they have decided to order another for the 3rd out. All I can say is that it does what it was made for.

My service has a Zoll AutoPulse we used it once and how its a 15,000 dollar door stop. It caused more damage to the pt. then normal chest compressions. We hate the AutoPulse and we will never use it again.

I forgot to mention one of the biggest problems we had with the autopulse is the constant restarting of it during a cardiac arrest

Probably the most violent thing i have ever seen. They say the compressions it delivers is more effective than a normal beating heart but the studies show no increase in pt discharge as compared to regular CPR. I'm glad these pieces of crap are off our cars. It's enough that family members have to see us work a code in their house but probably more disturbing is seeing this leviathan at work
