I usually cal it truck. As in, hey you frequent flier, "get in the truck".

I guess I violated Asysin's law. Having grown up on the other side of the polluted waterway from Manhattan, and working with retired FDNY employees doesn't give me the right to use "bus".

Unfortunately you didn't give the option of "Which One?" followed by the same options. Although most of my answers would have been either "rig" or "truck", I do work on a couple of them that fall in the "giant piece of expletive" category

We do an amazing thing, apparently. We call it an ambulance, followed closely by Unit (as in "Unit 62" sucks because the driver's door isn't air tight"). Every once in a while the term "Vanbulance" is thrown around.

WE HAVE PURCHASED BRAND NEW STERLING TRUCKS, AND MAY I SAY THEY ARE NICE. A FEW PROBLEMS, THE RUBBER DIAMOND PLATING IS A PAIN TO CLEAN. THE FRONT IS VERY SPARTAN, AND SO MUCH SPACE IS WASTED WHEN IT COULD BE USED AND POSITIONED MORE APPROPRIATELY. WE ALSO HAVE FREIGHT LINERS WHICH DO THE JOB. WAY BETTER THAN TINY VANS OR CADILLAC HEARSES OF THE PAST.

Give the caps lock key a rest.

"9A" or rig or ambulance.

We also call it a Ambulance. Sometimes by unit number but since we aren't in the limits of the 5 boroughs, NEVER a Bus.
