Scenarios Needed For Paramedic Character

The major difference between "Bringing out the Dead" and your manuscript are evident before it's even written. Joe Connelly was a working paramedic when he wrote that book. No offense, but if you want to write something, stick to what you know. The words will come to you with ease if you follow that advice. Don't be something you are not. Good Luck.

2000 words, not a lot to do character development, especially for an EMS storyline.

If you want a different twist and a story that involves an internal conflict with change I have a few ideas I can share. If you like them and want more detail, PM me and I will share details for what you need.

1. I delivered a full term baby not knowing it was only expected to live a few minutes after birth(mom forgot that piece of info). However, after delivery, she wanted me to baptise the baby( I am very non religous).

2. Another scenario was treating cardiac arrest of an infant with the parents standing there, only to find out at the hospital the child had been physically and sexually abused by the parents. The child was 4 months old!

Conflict could be wishing severe harm upon them or wondering if I am in the right business.
