chaser Posted October 11, 2006 Author Posted October 11, 2006 Bingo! Sorry- can't provide vitals as I was the patient. But it was a ruptupted appendix, followed by peritonitis. True, not much to do except transport aside from IV, O2, and vitals. Just another diagnosis to keep in mind. Being pregnant this DX never crossed my mind, nor the docs at the hospital for way too many hours! (By the way, they let me lay in the OR and debated in front of me whether it was safe to put me under or not...pleeeasseee- at least leave the room  )
paramedicmike Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Fe 29 yrs What this? A new isotope for iron? Spelling counts! Glad you're feeling better, though. -be safe.
chaser Posted October 12, 2006 Author Posted October 12, 2006 A new isotope for iron?? No, not that I know of. (I haven't dealt with the periodic tables since Organic Chem. and so don't know anything about a different form) I was just being lazy but thanks for the spell check. And my baby was fine, full term after all the sh** and mistakes we went through.
Dustdevil Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Appy and choly were the first two things to come to my mind. 29's a tad on the young side for a choly, but not unheard of. I was going to ask what she was weighing in at, but since it's you...
chaser Posted October 12, 2006 Author Posted October 12, 2006 128 lbs at 3 months preg- 119 lbs after leaving the hospital 4 months preg. Wouldn't recommend this weight loss program
Dustdevil Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Yikes! Talk about your bad timing! I hope you and your baby are doing well!
paramedicmike Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Yikes, indeed! Doubly glad you're doing better. And the young 'un, too! -be safe.
