I finally got my R-aid pack. It is smaller than the M-5. Those of you that love a heavy medical pack with everything from 02 to OB kits in it will be disatisfied. I like it because its simple but allows just enough stuff for a patrol or small tactical operation. Its designed to carry on your back or as a sling over the shoulder type bag. My pack is coyote tan and here is whats in it.

4 NPAs.

1 pocket mask. (I'd prefer a BVM..no room).

1 box of OPAs.

2 14ga jelcos 3in.

4 israeli bandages. Why the Americans call it "The Emergency Bandage" is beyond me

1 roll of kerlix.

2 Asherman chest seals.

1 roll of 2in silk tape..

4 each 14, 16, 18 ga jelcos.

8 tegaderm dressings.

4 SOF tourniquets.

2 liter bags NS.

2 drip set 10gtt.

6 Saline locks.

1 surgical instruments kit (hemostats, scapel, scissors).

1 trauma shears on outside shears pocket.

1 BP cuff and Stethoscope.

8 4x4s.

10 alcohol pads.

10 betadine pads.

gloves PRN.

Thats all for now I think. this bag is to be packed based on what type of operation you are supporting. I dont think there will be a standard packing list for this unless Combat Lifesavers use it.

Seems like the price is right as far as comparable bags go. I know LBT puts one out that's very similar for twice the price. Too bad a BVM won't fit.
