A friend of mine went to Washington over the weeked and this is a story he told me. When they approached and could see the white house he said "this is your captain....a special treat for the passengers on the left. The white building is the White House". At this point he said "LET ME SHOW YOU!"

Considering the glide path on the approach to National Airport goes right next to/over the Pentagon, which has had some unpleasant experiences with planes in the recent past, I'd say your friend is neither intelligent or funny.

Lets get to the root of this thread: quint lists himeself as a Lt Paramedic. Ever met any Lt that did not think he was funny?

Most fire/ems Lts I met are in a grandiose world of their own. This seems to be the case here.

Off the subject slightly: Why do so many people from Texas FDs have trouble passing NFA ALS Haz-Mat?
