Paramagic14 Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 what about herpes simplex virus type 1. Which can lead to aseptic menningitis in adults.
brock8024 Posted November 29, 2006 Author Posted November 29, 2006 This can cause this condition or be a factor but not what I was looking for.
Paramagic14 Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 what about HIV. the purpulish skin rash could be kaposi's sarcoma. as it progresses it involves the central nervous system, which in turn lead to peripherial neuro disorders such as the siezures.
brock8024 Posted November 29, 2006 Author Posted November 29, 2006 The rash area had different colors to it. And some areas was like blisters that had ruptured during the seizure. Hopes this helps.
chaser Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 HFM or impetigo- blisters on hands is somewhat rare
brock8024 Posted November 29, 2006 Author Posted November 29, 2006 He has a fever which we know but then tells you after move questions that he has been feeling just weak all over. the rash look kind of like a target. Anythign else you want to know you got to ask for.
brock8024 Posted November 29, 2006 Author Posted November 29, 2006 Heck no one has even asked for V/S or anything of that nature. humm what else you want to know about this guy.
brock8024 Posted November 29, 2006 Author Posted November 29, 2006 Ok we need to send everyone back to basic class. If you read through this stuff no one has asked for a set of vital signs. THis can help alot plus this is kind of a though thing unless you have seen it so you might have to do some research. I do this because most of my scenarios are easy. This is a patient I got to help take care of and can be picked up by a emt or paramedic if you know what to look for.
