Single-function paramedics in California

Does anyone know of any fire departments or county agencies in California (beside the City of SF) that hire single function paramedics?

I'm guessing it's a medic who works for a FD but only does medical. As opposed to a medic who also does fire calls etc.

Well, I know AMR does 911 for Riverside. The downside, besides not being a government employee, is working in Riverside.

I know around here we have lots of single funtion medic jobs availible with the county. If fact we have a huge shortage.

I was at UMC in Fresno last night and saw a flier for Selma City Fire hiring "non-safety" paramedics.

I don't know if it has changed, but about 10 years ago, when I was in the field, LA City FD had civilian Paramedics
