Ridryder 911 Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Okay, some of you have read my discussion on new curriculum and some changes that will be occurring. Here is a link to the committee and some of the development of EMS educational committee. http://www.nemses.org/documents.html R/r 911
FormerEMSLT297 Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Well that was helpful..... I coud not open either site..... some one want to spell out the gist of what they are proposing?... thanks
JPINFV Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 http://www.nemsed.org There was an extra period in the second post. Looking through the document, I'm surprised that they are expecting to accomplish all of the A/P in just 4-5 hours and pathophysiology in 2-3 hours (some stuff that I was expecting in A/P is showing up in the patho section). This can be the difference between it being, "Well, I've heard the term "preload" and "I understand what preload is and how it affects my patient."
Dustdevil Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 Looking through the document, I'm surprised that they are expecting to accomplish all of the A/P in just 4-5 hours and pathophysiology in 2-3 hours... Ha! Well, if they are talking about SEMESTER hours, they *might* be getting close to what is needed. But I doubt it.
