It was an interesting video, but then, does anyone remember when "Murdoch" and his partner dropped the strecher with the fat woman on it, when the stairs broke under them? The strecher bounced down the stairs, and rolled down the street, with the woman screaming all the way, until, perhaps a half mile later, it hit a parked car, and the car's hood popped open.

Then, before Murdoch could extricate his partner from the stairs, the partner got bitten by a rat?

Yes, I found the clip amusing, if nothing else, because of the looks on the peoples faces. It's reminicent of Candid Camera.

If I get the gist of the quote you made, in your opinion, its perfectly fine to take shots at Police, Firefighters, and EMS in general.... as long as (heaven forbid) that they don't take the same shot at MEDICS! I guess Medics are above reproach, and therefore should not be made the butt of any jokes, EVER!

you know it never fails, every time someone posts a little joke on here there is at least one Person who has to criticize it. I found it hilarious! Who cares how the public perceives EMS. Besides, do you have proof that the public perceives EMS in the matter of it being one big joke? As long as you do your job and you do it right that is all that matters. You cant control all the other idiots out there that don't take their job seriously and who give it a bad image, just as long as you dont. It doesn't matter what career you get into, there is always going to be one person who is going to be the 'screw up' of the group and make things look bad, but that doesn't mean that the public perceives that profession as just one big joke. IF your that self conscious that a little spoof video like that is going to make the profession look bad then you have issues. Live a little, laugh a little & Lighten up!

Yes, I agree some people are way to uptight around here. But i guess that is the risk you take when you post something on a forum like this you open yourself up to all kinds of opinions.
