I have also used 3in tape to write triage information on and stick it on the pts forehead. Our supply guy doesnt think we deserve or need triage tags :boxing:

This is the twenty-first century, guys. Get with the programme.

Go big or go home. That's why I record all my patient information on a microchip that I then implant in the patient by anal probe. And, of course, if your agency doesn't carry anal probes, your agency sucks!

And when your anal probes goes down you can always use individual 4x4s (still in paper package) they make great improvised triage cards as well as for the usual SAMPLE/SOAP/DECAP-BTLS/MAPCODE info you would need to obtain

Hey Dust, would that be a BLS or an ALS skill? lol :twisted:

I use those cheap notepads that I keep in my back pocket. Otherwise I write on the glove. There have been times when I have written on my bare forearm.

I never thought of using medical tape.....this is an epiphany to me! :cheers:
