WendyT Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1749073 THIS MAY HAVE BEEN POSTED IN THE WRONG FORUM, AND IT WASNT MENT TO BE FUNNY. IT WOULD BE NICE TO KNOW WHAT THE OUTCOME WAS WITH THIS, BECAUSE THAT VIDEO WOULD BE PERFECT FOR A (1)LAWSUIT, (2)TO SHOW OTHER PEOPLE, NOT A GOOD IDEA TO TRY THIS, (3) DID SHE SUFFER ANYTHING FROM IT.
Just Plain Ruff Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 so what was funny about that? Wendy, your humor I just don't get. And how do you know how she fared? Please give us the rest of the story.
WendyT Posted July 9, 2007 Author Posted July 9, 2007 Well buddy where would you like me to put it? That was all I found and I'm surprised that there is no follow up that I know of, that's why I said; PEOPLE NEVER LEARN.
paramedicmike Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Put it somewhere other than funny stuff. What about this was funny? Did you see humour in this? If you did, could you please explain what humour you saw? Or are you some sort of pathetic, sadistic maniac who enjoys watching people get hurt? If you found this funny your sense of humour is suspect and, at best, warped beyond and reasonable allowance. If you were smart you'd have thought this might make a great case presentation. The scenario section might've been appropriate. But it's certainly NOT funny.
Just Plain Ruff Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 well Sissy, someplace other than funny. I watched it several times and not once could I find anything remotely funny about it. So tell me, if I video taped you jumping off a cliff and surfacing face down and not moving, you are telling me that you wouldn't mind if I posted it under Funny Stuff on an EMS website or would you prefer it somewhere else, maybe like paramedic mike put it, scenarios. this would have made a great scenario where you actually had a video of a scene. You could have prefaced it that after the initial shock of the jump what would you do??? What are your first steps in treating this not so bright but injured girl.
WendyT Posted July 9, 2007 Author Posted July 9, 2007 To Mike Did you miss the part I said about IT WASNT MENT TO BE FUNNY, wrong room perhaps. To Michael Yes, Scenarios would be a good start  Someone hitting the water like that would obviously be in bad shape, she was not prepared for it, figuring this blew her ear drums out and her surfacing caused her to be unconscious, she might have an neck injury and could suffer Serious Haemorrhage, because of the pressure in her jump into the water. Because these kids might have moved her, she could suffer from paralysis. Is she breathing, ?
Just Plain Ruff Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 First off WendyT, which Mike are you referring to as the two responses so far criticising you were from Mikes and I believe both of us were criticising you well before you made your edit. http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1749073 THIS MAY HAVE BEEN POSTED IN THE WRONG FORUM, AND IT WASNT MENT TO BE FUNNY. IT WOULD BE NICE TO KNOW WHAT THE OUTCOME WAS WITH THIS, BECAUSE THAT VIDEO WOULD BE PERFECT FOR A (1)LAWSUIT, (2)TO SHOW OTHER PEOPLE, NOT A GOOD IDEA TO TRY THIS, (3) DID SHE SUFFER ANYTHING FROM IT. well Wendy, nice try but that's an edit. I believe your first post which I read said something to this effect 65 foot cliff, she didn't seem to fare too well or something like that. All that in caps was added after I saw your post. Nice edit by the way.
