PAI/RSI Medications

We have to patch to get on-line orders for PAI (no NMBs).

We have:

Diazepam

Midazolam

Fentanyl

Morphine

We do however have a standing order for sedation POST-intubation but not pre.

We have Propofol, Versed, Ketamin and Celocurin. I don´t see Morfin and Diazepam as anhestetic agents. I always carrie Fentanyl and Alfentanil with me in case of. Entomidate is´nt an registered drug in Sweden.

Ours is on standing orders, but is heavily QA'd.

we use fentanyl/versed for sedation and analgesia. lidocaine PRN with head injuries. Atropine with bradycardia and peds. succs for initial paralytic if needed. then roc for long term paralytic if sedation and analgesia not enough.
