Dustdevil Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 The unfortunate truth is that, no matter how fast your connection is, EMT City is quite possibly the slowest website on earth. :? 1
BushyFromOz Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 In terms of forum responses or in loading dust??
Dustdevil Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 In terms of forum responses or in loading dust?? Both, lately! But I was talking about how slow the pages load. It's painful.
EMT City Administrator Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 The unfortunate truth is that, no matter how fast your connection is, EMT City is quite possibly the slowest website on earth. :? Loads quickly here and on my verizon card.
TylerHastings Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Loads very quickly here but terribly slow on my VZW blackberry....might be because I have miss placed the address for the mobile version of the site
FireMedic65 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 It's hit or miss on loading. Aside from the site breaking several times a week it is pretty decent. A server upgrade or a better account with the hosting company might help too.

Loads quickly here and on my verizon card. Just goes to show that Verizon is Evil........ But then again. My Verizon DSL works pretty good.
JPINFV Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 So IT at school wanted us to test server capacity today and using a survey. One of the questions was: What do you use at home to connect to the internet: A. Dial Up B. Broadband C. Wireless Err... someone doesn't quite get the entire home network/internet gateway thing.
fireflymedic Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 At home - speedy gonzales cable - it rocks ! At work - usually DSL , but one still has dial up which is pitifully slow - it's ridiculous. I think it's carved out of the stone age,and when the site's having issues it's even worse !
