why were there 2 ambulances on scene for a drunk and disorderly? Seems like a waste of resources.
Ah, but this is NJ. BLS ambo responds first, then the ALS.

Actually, I clicked on this link because I thought it was a poll.

Yes, I agree with drinking in the summer ( within moderation of course)

Because MONOC uses ambulances as their ALS units. However, ALS does not transport, thats why the BLS rig showed up. It depends on the area if an ambulance or SUV shows up as your ALS unit in NJ.

They were both BLS units. How both of them ended up there, beats the hell outta me.

MONOC, whose middle name is O NO!!!!

And don't get me started on EVMTS.....

The first unit was transporting a patient and was flagged down by the PD, I think. I know they were flagged I just forget by whom. They stayed onscene (with one crew member remaining with their own patient) until the second unit got there.

You're right. I didn't even notice the EMT patch on the MONOC crew member. I think both companies need a overhaul.

Yeah... I know we just recently had a big fight about that here, but I'm up for another one if anybody else is! :|

I think the patient just ALS'ed himself..."I was going to turf this cal until the guy ate the back of the unit" is probaby what the medic is thinking at that point...
