Just curious, how would removing a youth striving for excellence in his chosen sport from the gene pool benefit us?

Chosen sport. Heh. You see, when professionals practice their sport, they use appropriate equipment to prevent injury. When stupid suburbanite youngsters try to get a subarachnoid hemmorhage so they can have the mad skillz to impress the ho's, they are just being dumb.

OUCH that looks like it hurt like crap! Well to my knowledge i am sure that you would definately need to stabilize this leg and then after that you need to monitor him and give him morphine for pain because he is definately going to be in pain after that one!

Well, that is the consequences of showing off and not knowing what he was doing and not taking precautions.

For as treatment, like others described in additional possible pelvis, he rotated that leg back hard.

Now, the wonderful news is he probably has no health insurance, and will be laid up for a while after his orthopedic surgery. Then comes rehab.. so we can make him better to do this all over again.

OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reposition. Monitor pulses. 14g IV only because no 12's on the truck. Immobilize. Depends on how polite as to whether I pull out the Morphine.

As long as people like that breed I have a paycheck.

We carry 12g catheters for chest decompressions. This might be one of those times to use it for an IV...after I stopped laughing of course. :D

Meh, I think the Black and Decker EZIO is appropriate. Not because it hurts, but just to see his face when it comes out of it's case  . Then snow 'em. :sleepy1:

Unforunately, for this kid a moment of youthful bliss might lead to permanent disability. What a shame, it is hard to feel sorry for people that pull stunts like this. To rub his face in it, probably is not professional, his own pain and shame is probably enough. I do know why the other medics have no sympathy, though, there are enough legitimate accidents without this craziness.
