How can you be sure a horse is just a horse?

I hope I word this right. When in question and something tells you something just isn't right, look at it as a zebra until you find out it is a horse. Common sense will carry you a long way. And you're right when you said that it will all come together with more experience. The more horses you experience the greater the chance of a zebra will showing up.

And personally, don't worry about expenses.
